À partir du 10 juin 2026, La Galerie Dior inaugure une nouvelle présentation de ses collections de Christian Dior à Jonathan Anderson : près de 150 modèles, associés à des croquis originaux, documents d’archives et photographies, rendent compte de l’importance du patrimoine précieusement enrichi et conservé par Dior Héritage. Elle témoigne de l’inventivité du couturier-fondateur et de ses successeurs : Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferré, John Galliano, Raf Simons, Maria Grazia Chiuri et, aujourd’hui, Jonathan Anderson, nommé en juin 2025 Directeur Artistique des collections Femme, Homme et Haute Couture de Dior. Sa modernité entre ainsi en dialogue avec celle de ses prédécesseurs, proposant une lecture contemporaine de l’allure Dior.
Thirteen themed rooms in turn bring to light what constitutes the very essence of Dior. From the enchantment of gardens to the magic of balls, from the timelessness of the little black dress to the creative freedom of the Diorling ready-to-wear line: launched in London in 1968 by Jorn Landberg, Artistic Director of Christian Dior London, it offers a young and easy-to-wear fashion, which reflects the spirit of a new society guided by the pop culture of the "Swinging Sixties".
The course also seeks to reveal the founding elements of haute couture: the invention of the Dior look, the magic of the canvases that precede the choice of fabrics, the technique essential to the construction of models erected as true architectures or the luxury of ornamentation, whose purpose is to "ennoble" the line: this is the case with the art of knotting, which lent itself to a multitude of variations at Christian Dior and his successors, to the point of symbolizing the extreme refinement of the Dior style. Finally, the variety of essential accessories hats, bags, gloves, shoes, perfumes punctuates the wardrobe of a woman who declines from morning to evening.
Within the walls of 30 Montaigne are created, since 1947, the haute couture collections of the House, starting with the New Look, first collection of Christian Dior at the origin of a revolution in the history of the silhouette after the Second World War.
Aujourd’hui La Galerie Dior, qui attire plus de 400 000 visiteurs par an, perpétue la mémoire de cette adresse emblématique tout en proposant une traversée unique de près de quatre-vingts années d’histoire de la mode à travers le prisme de Dior.
Située au 11, rue François-Ier, Paris 8e, La Galerie Dior est ouverte tous les jours de 11h à 19h, sauf le mardi. La dernière entrée se fait à 17h30. Fermeture les 1er janvier, 1er mai et 25 décembre.
